Mamnoon Seattle Review

Before I start with this review, I just want to apologize for not being able to include any pictures of the foods. I forgot to take the pictures and I apologize for that, but you will be able to find pictures online if you just search up the name of the dish.

The first and most important thing I want you guys to be aware of is that the menus of the sit-down dinner and outside/to-go dinner are different. This place has one menu for the people sitting inside and a separate menu for the people to-go ordering or sitting outside. If you are to be sitting inside, you are only allowed to order from the sit-down menu, but if you are sitting outside or to go ordering, you may order from both menus. I personally think it is better to sit outside or to-go order since you will have much more options. Since I was unaware of this, we ended up sitting inside so all this dish's that will be in the review are from the sit-down menu.

Humus - $10 - This is a side dish that is made up of mashed chickpeas, garlic, lemon, and tahini. This dish comes with a side of flatbread and is honestly the perfect dish to order as an appetizer. I warn you to not order to much of it otherwise you will be full before your food arrives. Although it might be tempting to order the delicious smooth humus more than once, try to refrain.

Baba Ganoush - $10 - This is a side dish that is a blend of smoked eggplant, lemon, tahini, garlic, and Persian pickles. Honestly, I am not the biggest fan of Baba Gonoush and this dish defiantly didn't change it. I personally think that humus is way better which is also one of the reasons I refrain from trying Baba Ganoush often.

Rack of Lamb - $37 - This dish consists of 1/2 rack, saffron, peach and tomato shirazi, almonds, herbs, and preserved lemon labneh. This dish was my personal favorite of the night. Lamb is one of my favorit kind of meats and is something I could eat any day. This dish had super intense flavors in the lamb and also had a nice chewy texture to it. My favorite part was the crunchy texture from the almonds mixed with the soft texture of the lamb.

Mamnoons shish taouk - $30 - This dish is made with a yogurt marinated grilled chicken, baby broccoli, Billy's Garden heirloom tomatoes, jimmy nardello peppers, pickled rrhubarb, chili toum, and tarragon. This is also one of my favorite dishes that we ordered. If you are confused by the name of this dish, it is basically grilled chicken bites that come with a ton of veggies and a tangy sauce. The presentation of this dish is so amazing and there is plenty to share between two people. There is about 6 large chicken bites and TONS of veggies. They have different kinds of veggies that taste so amazing with the sauce.

Seared King Salmon - $35 - In this last dish it is made with saffron and tomato broth, corn, shishito peppers, barberry, blood orange, pine nuts, and shallots. This dish is very similar to the last one as they have the same type of sauce and veggies just different meats. This one has HUGE Samon while the other one is just grilled chicken. This dish is also shareable between 2-3 people as they give a huge piece of salmon.

Overall, this place had great food and I would definitely come here again. As you can see the food is a bit pricey, so this is defiantly made for a more formal dinner. If you want a fast quick dinner I would recommend sitting outside or to go order since that menu is a lot cheaper and more made faster.
